Matt EwerOwnerMatt Ewer is from Marion, IN, and has a degree in Environmental Management from Indiana University. After graduating in 2000, Matt worked at Stranger’s Hill organic farm in Bloomington, IN for two seasons. Enjoying his experience in farming led Matt to Washington State for another learning experience in organics. While in Seattle for four years Matt was the General Manager of Full Circle Farm which was recently named “one of the most successful small farms in the country” by US news. Matt has experience in buying, growing, and selling large volumes of produce and natural products as well as marketing and managing a “growing” company.
Beth BlessingOwnerBeth Blessing is from Noblesville, IN, and has a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Indiana University and a Master of Science in Nutrition from Bastyr University. After graduating from Bastyr, she worked as a nutrition educator for Washington State University King County Extension’s Food $ense Program. While at Food $ense, she co-authored nutrition education curriculum. Now she is the on-site Nutritionist and a Food Service instructor at The Chef’s Academy, the Indiana Business College’s culinary school. Brandon HamiltonFeel Good Foods Executive ChefBrandon Hamilton is from Ft. Wayne, IN, and has a degree in Culinary Arts from The Chef’s Academy. Chef Brandon received a presidential scholarship to attend The Chef’s Academy and was valedictorian of the 2008 graduating class. Brandon has been in the kitchen all of his life and has served as the Executive Chef at 14 West, Traders Point Creamery, and the Malibu Grill. Brandon’s expertise in the kitchen is matched by his passion for local and healthy foods. His creativity and culinary technique makes for local foods that are out of this world!
Michelle MedowsHead of Business OperationsMichelle Medows is from Marion, IN, and graduated from the Kelley School of Business with a concentration in entrepreneurship. She has tremendous leadership and organizational skills. Michelle heads our HR and Accounting Departments. She also manages our customer service staff and assists with marketing plans, website development, and long term logistics. Michelle is a true talent and we enjoy the passion and work ethic she brings with her each day.
John FreelandCincinnati Regional ManagerJohn Freeland is from Ft. Wayne, IN, and has experience in community organization and logistics. John lives in Cincinnati; he runs our Cincinnati warehouse and works with Ohio River Valley food producers and artisans. John also helps Farm Fresh Delivery with long term goals and strategies. He is a long time friend of both owners and was hand selected to manage the Cincinnati expansion due to his tireless work ethic and passion for local and unique foods!
David BlessingFood Purchaser and Warehouse ManagerDavid Blessing is from Noblesville, IN. In a nutshell, David’s job is to make sure that food shows up, gets into the magic bins, and makes it to our customers’ front doors- easier said than done. Farm Fresh Delivery works with up to 30 vendors a week, mostly small businesses located in Indiana. David also has special skills in mechanics. He teams up with Matt on special projects around the warehouse like installing our walk-in refrigerators and freezers. He also keeps our vehicles maintained and running properly. David is a “Jack of All Trades” and our “get ‘er done” guy.
